Job summary

Commerce, the parent for Feedonomics, is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead API surface expansion and an in-platform AI assistant for catalog and channel actions. You’ll own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and developer experience across MCP, CLI, and related tooling.

You will work in a hybrid setup with Austin-based teams, collaborating with eng, design, sales, and support to translate complex workflows into scalable API products and AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning platform, API, or developer-facing products.
• Demonstrated track record of defining and shipping API products or developer tools used by external integrators.
• Strong familiarity with the e-commerce technology stack and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for Feedonomics’ programmatic access layer and APIs.
• Define capability requirements and back-log prioritization for API surface expansion.
• Drive developer experience improvements across authentication, error handling, and rate-limiting design.
• Lead product definition for a conversational AI assistant embedded in the platform.
• Define and ship tools (MCP, CLI) exposing capabilities to AI agents and workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering to simplify workflows and reduce API calls.
• Stay current with agentic AI tooling ecosystem and refine product strategy accordingly.
• Lead end-to-end planning, backlog management, and sprint delivery.
• Perform market research and competitive analysis in e-commerce tech and AI tooling.
