Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks an IT Service Delivery Manager – API Platform, Developer Portal & Emerging AI Gateway. Lead Apigee-based API Gateway and Developer Portal, guiding enterprise capabilities 24x7 and shaping the AI gateway roadmap.

You will drive end-to-end delivery, collaboration with product and security teams, and establish governance, monitoring, and adoption metrics across Huntington’s API ecosystem. Dysfunctional teams or processes should be improved continuously.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of technology experience with at least 3 years in leadership.
• Proven experience delivering and operating enterprise API/platforms.
• Experience with Apigee X and API gateway environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing engineering team for Apigee-based API Gateway and Developer Portal 24x7.
• Own end-to-end technology delivery including staffing, planning, and execution.
• Develop long-term strategy and roadmap for API Gateway and related platforms.
• Ensure availability, scalability, reliability, and performance through automation and observability.
• Own platform health, incident management, and disaster recovery for supported services.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and product teams on executable roadmaps.
• Own API lifecycle including onboarding, governance, security, monitoring, and analytics.
• Champion developer experience via the Developer Portal for API discovery and testing.
• Drive platform adoption through training, docs, and enablement activities.
• Partner with AI teams to support evolving AI Gateway capabilities.
