Job summary

GreatAmerica is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain services and APIs across our enterprise platform. You will work in a collaborative agile team, mentor others, and contribute to architectural discussions while aligning with business goals.

You should have 8+ years of experience in software engineering, strong C# and API tooling skills, and a track record of delivering scalable microservices on cloud platforms such as Azure, with Swagger/OAS expertise and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
8+ years of software engineering with APIs.
8+ years OO, design, testing, and error handling.
5+ years Swagger or OAS and developing APIs.
5+ years C# or similar language.
5+ years Postman and integration testing.
3+ years Event-Driven Architecture and AsyncAPI.
3+ years Salesforce experience.
Experience with microservices and API gateways (Azure, MuleSoft) a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain services and APIs.
Troubleshoot, debug, and implement fixes in existing applications, services, and APIs.
Mentor and coach other developers.
Participate in agile product teams to build quality, scalable products.
Deploy and manage services and APIs in CI/CD pipelines.
