Job summary

Launch Legends Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer, API & Interoperability to own contracts and bridges for Autheo live mainnet. This part-time equity/cofounder role blends protocol engineering with cross-chain messaging and developer surface work.

You’ll write Go and Rust, manage gRPC/GraphQL, and collaborate with Protocol and SRE. Remote, equity-forward path, with potential salary after initial funding.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in protocol or API engineering.
• Production Go or Rust with a client.
• Experience with IBC, bridges, or cross-chain messaging.
• Distributed systems design: retries, idempotency, timeouts, saga/outbox.
• Kubernetes deployment and OpenTelemetry tracing.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Define and own API contracts (Go/Rust, gRPC/GraphQL/REST).
• Lead IBC channels, live bridge integration, and bridge surface.
• Design events delivery with idempotency and reliable delivery.
• Ensure reliability: Kubernetes, observability, and tracing.
• Deliver docs and a sandbox for DevHub users.
