ModMed, a leader in healthcare IT, seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and advance our Integrations and Interoperability offerings. You will drive design, development, and delivery of reliable, scalable integration services and evolve our API ecosystem, collaborating across geos and mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires 8+ years in software development, expertise in Java/Spring Boot and AWS, and a proven ability to lead in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience, with leadership experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and RESTful services skills.
• Experience with cloud services, AWS preferred; healthcare interoperability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software systems aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure deliverables meet functional and non-functional criteria and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-geo teams to align work with objectives.
• Identify and implement efficient operational or technical solutions to boost performance.
• Promote continuous improvement through design, code, and operational reviews.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.
