Job summary

Pipedream in San Francisco is hiring a Software Engineer to grow the Pipedream Connect platform, expanding its catalog of connectors and API capabilities across Go, Node.js, Rust, Rails, Kotlin, SQL, Redis, and Kubernetes.

You will work across a modern stack, build secure, scalable services, and mentor peers as you ship features that unlock enterprise integrations for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years developing REST/GraphQL APIs with a web framework (e.g., Rails, Node.js/Express).
• 2+ years working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong experience with key‑value data stores (e.g., Redis, Valkey).
• Strong experience with techniques for scaling high‑volume APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Expand core capabilities of Pipedream Connect and its growing catalog of connectors.
• Develop across a diverse stack including Go, Node.js, Rust, Rails, Kotlin, SQL, Redis, and Kubernetes.
• Lead small teams of engineers to design and ship significant features.
• Design scalable architectures and improve API performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features that meet customer needs.
