Job summary

Workday's Pipedream team is building connectors to third-party apps, expanding Pipedream Connect, and delivering enterprise-scale impact. As a Software Engineer, you will work across Go, Node.js, Rust, Rails, Kotlin, SQL, Redis, and Kubernetes to extend connectors and meet evolving customer needs.

You will ship features, collaborate across teams, and help guide architecture while maintaining high performance and reliability in distributed cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in software development, architecture, building, and scaling robust systems.
• 4+ years experience developing REST/GraphQL APIs with Rails or Node.js/Express.
• 2+ years experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Redis/Key-value stores and scaling high-volume APIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop REST/GraphQL APIs and maintain scalable backend services.
• Work across a modern tech stack (Go, Node.js, Rust, Rails, Kotlin, SQL, Redis, Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with teams to design, build, and test distributed cloud applications on AWS/GCP/Azure.
