Job summary

Snowrelic Inc. seeks an experienced API Gateway Engineer to administrate and secure the Layer 7 API Gateway across multiple environments, ensuring scalable integrations and robust governance across multi-region deployments.

You will work with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC tools to deliver reliable API platforms, monitor traffic, and support incident RCA with cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Layer 7 API Gateway administration and policy management.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, SAML, OIDC, and federation concepts.
• Experience with API proxies, rate limiting, throttling, and routing policies.
• Hands-on debugging and production support for enterprise APIs.
• Experience with Agile SDLC and working with product owners.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Layer 7 API Gateway across environments.
• Collaborate with middleware and application teams for secure API integrations.
• Maintain API docs, configuration standards, and runbooks.
• Monitor API traffic, incidents, and perform RCA/resolution.
