Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Principal Application System Analyst to support the State Health Plan initiative. This remote contract role involves gathering and elaborating requirements for API Connect workstreams, documenting APIs, and creating specifications for development teams.

The analyst will influence design and deployment of complex solutions, ensuring traceability and guiding impact assessments across teams.

Qualifications

10+ years of related experience, including API Connect and DataPower.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Healthcare/insurance domain experience preferred.
BCBS experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements for API Connect workstreams and document APIs.
Create functional specifications for developers detailing updates and changes.
Guide design, construction, deployment, and maintenance of complex technical solutions.
Ensure end-to-end traceability and assess upstream/downstream impacts.
Collaborate with Platform Integrations and Strategic Platform Engineering teams.
Mentor less experienced staff.
