Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and modernize enterprise APIs across Payments, Money Movement, and Information Reporting platforms. You will migrate legacy services to cloud-native, scalable API-driven solutions using AWS, Java, and Spring Boot.

You will participate in architecture, development, testing, deployment, governance, monitoring, and production support, collaborating with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver

Qualifications

• Five or more years in software development and API/Microservices experience preferred.
• Experience migrating services to AWS and cloud-native patterns.
• Strong knowledge of API security and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support secure, scalable APIs and microservices for Payments and Money Movement.
• Modernize APIs and migrate integrations from on-premises to AWS cloud-native architectures.
