Fidelity TalentSource is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join the Westlake, TX-based engineering team. The role focuses on the HPS Platform—REST APIs and AWS microservices that drive enrollment and downstream processing for Workplace and Retail investing clients.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on with API testing, API migrations, and observability using Splunk. Strong communication, documentation, and cross-team collaboration are essential in this dynamic, agile environment.

Formación

• 6-9 years of professional experience in financial services or enterprise tech
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related tech subject area
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON payloads, and API integration across microservices
• Hands-on testing/validation of REST APIs using Bruno or Postman
• Experience with API versioning and migration impact analysis across microservices
• Proficiency with Splunk for log analysis, observability, and dashboards
• Experience with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, S3, SQS) and event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with Java/Spring Boot microservices for analysis and documentation
• Proficiency in creating system flow diagrams, data maps, and solution architecture documentation
• Expertise in writing detailed business/technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Understanding of SQL and tracing data across relational/NoSQL stores
• Knowledge of testing concepts; Cypress a plus
• Strong Scrum practices; Jira and Confluence experience
• Release coordination experience and post-release validation
• Experience with test data generation tools like Hexawise is a plus
• AI/ML awareness is a bonus

Responsabilidades

• Translate complex business needs into actionable user stories and sprint-ready backlog items
• Own end-to-end documentation of the HPS Platform including API contracts and release notes
• Collaborate with developers to validate REST API contracts, JSON payloads, and Kafka event flows
• Lead observability efforts with Splunk including dashboards and alert thresholds
• Coordinate release planning, readiness reviews, and post-release validation
• Ensure data integrity and traceability across microservices and AWS integrations
• Produce clear Confluence runbooks, architecture documents, and migration guides
• Perform root-cause analysis and triage production incidents when needed
