Job summary

Fidelity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer/Developer in Westlake, TX. The role focuses on designing software with Java and Spring Boot, building REST-based microservices, and leveraging AWS and Kubernetes within CI/CD pipelines.

Strong testing with JUnit/Mockito and distributed systems experience is expected. The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or Master’s) in a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience, with on-site work and devotion to robust financial software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field plus 3 years of experience designing and implementing REST APIs with Spring Boot and .NET Core.
• Experience building and deploying microservices in cloud environments (AWS) with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Designs software using object-oriented languages and builds REST-based microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Develops tests with JUnit and Mockito; participates in CI/CD using GitHub, ECS, and Docker.
• Develops and maintains AWS and other cloud platforms and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Creates documentation and supports user acceptance testing; assists in post-installation testing.
