Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technology discipline.
7+ years of software development experience on enterprise-wide applications.
Strong knowledge of .NET coding practices for mid-tier applications that perform business logic and calculations.
Knowledge building Java APIs is a plus.
Expertise in building scalable, server-side enterprise applications and RESTful APIs.
Experience leading and mentoring a team of developers.
Experience with re-platforming large applications.
Expertise in designing, developing and maintaining high-volume transactional systems.
Experience in developing cloud neutral applications in AWS and Azure.
Ability to debug through legacy systems and capture current state to aid modernization.
Contributes to formal reviews of architecture, design and code.
Experience with Mainframe applications.
Publishes clear design documentation and supports software releases.
Fosters teamwork across global development teams.

Responsibilities

Designing and developing RESTful APIs in .NET and JAVA Stack.
Experience in design patterns and principles such as OO, DD, SOA, Microservices.
Experience developing in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Core, Spring Boot is a plus.
Developing software utilizing OOAD and OOP design patterns.
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase).
Experience with IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ).
CI/CD using Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
Understanding Microservices architecture and domain-driven design patterns.
Developing and deploying 12-factor, containerized APIs to AWS/Azure.
Collaborating with producer and consumer teams for end-to-end solutions.
Experience with test automation for unit, functional and non-functional testing (SOATEST, SOASTA, Cucumber).
Discover/document legacy implementations (C++, Java, .NET) as part of re-platforming.
