Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst - APIs to join our software engineering team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories for development within a Scrum team, with a focus on Launchpad onboarding and robust API solutions.

Collaboration with product owners, developers, and QA will be essential to deliver high-quality API integrations.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in business systems analysis, focusing on UI requirements, API design/integration, and end-to-end system integration.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems.
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable user stories for development within a Scrum team.
Collaborate with product owners, developers, and architects to align API solutions with business objectives.
Define data flows and integration points for API-based solutions and testing with QA.
Create and maintain API documentation and diagrams (use cases, sequence diagrams, data flows).
Estimate work effort, manage timelines, and ensure delivery within scope and budget.
