Job summary

Realign Llc in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to own and drive API test automation efforts onsite. You will lead a team, define automation strategy, and collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Requires minimum 10 years in QA automation with strong API testing proficiency and experience in SQL for backend validation.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/Automation.
Strong API testing with validation of payloads, authentication, and backend data.
Experience with SQL for data verification.
Ability to define automation strategy and reusable automation frameworks.
Proven leadership of QA teams in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end API test automation initiatives using tools/frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
Strong experience in testing APIs, validating request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms, integrations, and backend data using SQL.
Ability to define automation strategy, develop reusable automation frameworks, review test scripts, and drive automation coverage across Agile releases.
Hands-on experience with defect management, test planning, JIRA tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication across business and technology teams.
Proven leadership experience managing QA teams, mentoring automation engineers, estimating testing efforts, and ensuring quality deliverables in a fast-paced Agile environment.
