Job summary

Realign Llc in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced QA Automation Lead to own and drive API test automation efforts onsite. You will lead a team, define automation strategy, and collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Requires minimum 10 years in QA automation with strong API testing proficiency and experience in SQL for backend validation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/Automation.
• Strong API testing with validation of payloads, authentication, and backend data.
• Experience with SQL for data verification.
• Ability to define automation strategy and reusable automation frameworks.
• Proven leadership of QA teams in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end API test automation initiatives using tools/frameworks such as Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in testing APIs, validating request/response payloads, authentication mechanisms, integrations, and backend data using SQL.
• Ability to define automation strategy, develop reusable automation frameworks, review test scripts, and drive automation coverage across Agile releases.
• Hands-on experience with defect management, test planning, JIRA tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication across business and technology teams.
• Proven leadership experience managing QA teams, mentoring automation engineers, estimating testing efforts, and ensuring quality deliverables in a fast-paced Agile environment.
