Job summary

Huntington National Bank seeks an Automation QA Lead to define and advance testing strategies for the API Gateway platform. You will architect reusable automated suites, integrate tests into Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teams in automation and quality practices.

You will lead end-to-end testing across functional, integration, regression, performance, and security areas while partnering with engineering and product teams to ensure release confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, automation engineering, or quality engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks.
• Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Postman, Karate, Rest Assured, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent.
• Experience developing automation using Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the test automation vision and roadmap for the API Gateway platform.
• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks supporting API, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Establish quality engineering standards, testing best practices, and automation governance across the platform.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, product, and platform teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
• Define quality metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
