Job summary

Axway, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ, seeks a Senior Services Consultant I to assess network and system needs, install Axway API Management solutions, and ensure secure, compliant API traffic across AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, and Docker.

The role covers database design with MySQL, MSSQL, Cassandra; deploying APIs across cloud and legacy systems; leading platform upgrades; and delivering formal training and mentorship to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Management, or related field with 2 years of related experience.
• Experience in Windows or Linux administration and SDLC tools; source control, build systems, issue tracking, and requirements management.
• Web API development in SOAP, XML, REST, JSON, and REST-based API testing; database administration with Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Cassandra.
• Cloud and container-based technologies including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes; web technologies including HTTP/HTTPS, TLS/SSL, PKI, X509; security and federated identity standards (SAML, WS-Fed, WS-Trust, OAuth, OpenID, XACML).

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Axway API Management solutions across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Deploy APIs across cloud, SaaS and legacy systems; lead Axway platform upgrades.
• Monitor API health using Datadog and Splunk; optimize performance and interoperability.
• Provide formal training and informal mentorship to customers on Axway products.
• Federate API governance across multi‑cloud environments using Amplify Engage.
