Job summary

Axway, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer I to lead container orchestration and infrastructure automation. You will use Kubernetes to manage deployments and scaling of Docker containers, develop automation tools, and deploy infrastructure with Jenkins and Terraform/Terragrunt.

The role includes on-call support for outages, monitoring with Prometheus, ELK, and Grafana, and AWS management. Remote work options are available with reporting to HQ in Scottsdale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3 years of related experience with the listed technologies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Use Kubernetes to orchestrate deployments, scaling and management of Docker containers.
• Develop automation tools for main Kubernetes operational tasks.
• Build, test and deploy infrastructure using Jenkins.
• Deploy infrastructure with Terraform/Terragrunt automation.
• Primary on-call support for outages and service degradation issues.
• Build, deploy and manage monitoring with Prometheus, ELK, Grafana.
• Train team members on deployment methods, automation and testing.
• Manage and monitor all systems in AWS.
• Remote work option; report to Scottsdale, AZ HQ.
