Job summary

TAM Residential in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for Grand at Hill Street. You will oversee maintenance operations, perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and emergencies to keep apartments, amenities, and common areas safe and inviting.

This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, plus the ability to train and mentor staff. On-call rotations and multi-property travel are involved.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• CPO certification is required.
• Previous apartment maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lead and train maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and complete resident service requests within 24 hours.
• Remain on-call 24/7 in accordance with schedule, handling resident and property emergencies.
• Inspect property systems and areas (A/C units, roofs, stairs, parking, etc.).
• Provide guidance and train maintenance staff, porters, and groundskeepers.
• Ensure upkeep of pools and recreational areas.
• Inspect vacant apartments for move-in readiness (minimum 5 per week).
