Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line seeks a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate entry of vendor invoices and timely payments. You will support daily GL transfers, prepare AP reports, and assist during audits.

In-office role based in South Florida, with collaboration across Shoreside and Shipboard teams. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting, Oracle experience, and strong Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills, plus 3+ years in AP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• Oracle experience preferred; intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to promoting an ethical and compliant culture; integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices into the AP system accurately and promptly.
• Assist with daily transfers to the General Ledger and variance reporting.
• Prepare AP control reports and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with AP leaders during audits and retrieve source documents as needed.
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors to resolve payment issues and ensure timely payments.
