Job summary

Carnival Cruise Line is seeking an Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate data entry from vendor invoices and timely payments. The role includes daily GL transfers, reports, and month-end close tasks in a fast-paced, in-office environment in South Florida.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting with 3+ years AP experience and Oracle familiarity. This hybrid position requires Monday–Thursday in the office with Fridays work-from-home, offering competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years Accounts Payable or related accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with Oracle is a plus; intermediate Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Enter payment data from vendor invoices into AP system accurately and promptly.
• Assist with daily transfers to GL and variance reporting.
• Prepare and resolve AP control reports (aging, holds, signature controls, duplicate reviews).
• Support month-, quarter-, and year-end close tasks incl. reconciliations and accrual reviews.
• Collaborate with AP leaders during audits and retrieve source documents as needed.
• Communicate and collaborate with departments and vendors to resolve invoice/payment issues.
