Job summary

Plus Power is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will handle high volumes in a renewable energy context, manage vendor relationships, and support the monthly close with strong GAAP compliance.

Remote-first with hybrid options from Plus Power offices across multiple U.S. locations. Strong Excel skills, Stampli and NetSuite experience, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years' relevant work experience in an accounting department.
• Current experience in renewable energy, power and utilities, or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of A/P invoices through Stampli across multiple entities.
• Coordinate with vendors to verify W-9s and payment instructions.
• Set up and maintain vendors in NetSuite and banking platforms.
• Manage annual 1099 reporting and filing.
• Support GAAP-compliant monthly close and reporting.
