Job summary

Plus Power is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting team. The role focuses on high-volume invoice processing through Stampli across multiple entities, vendor validation, and timely payments in a remote-friendly environment.

Candidates should have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance, 4+ years in accounting, and proven experience with Stampli and NetSuite; strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently in a distributed team are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years’ relevant work experience in an accounting department.
• Current experience in renewable energy, power and utilities, or construction preferred.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including macros, pivot tables, and data queries.
• Working knowledge of Stampli, NetSuite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of AP invoices through Stampli across multiple entities with proper allocations and documentation.
• Verify vendor details, terms, ACH/wire, and W-9s; ensure accurate GL coding.
• Set up and maintain vendors in NetSuite and banking platforms.
• Manage annual 1099 reporting and filing; ensure GAAP compliance.
