Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the Healthcare industry.
• Proficiency in prepaid accounts payable, matching and batching invoices, and high-volume data entry.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable GL coding.
• Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, and other data analysis functions.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Experience with financial software systems, with a quick ability to learn new technologies.
• Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the prepaid accounts payable function, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Handle high-volume data entry tasks, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform matching and batching of invoices, verifying details to ensure correct payment.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and problem-solving.
• Conduct Accounts Payable GL coding, ensuring all entries are accurately coded and classified.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable.
• Prepare and maintain financial reports, providing key insights into the company's financial health.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
• Participate in financial audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Continually identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
