Job summary

Slate is seeking a Senior AP & P2P Process Analyst to own the bill‑to‑pay lifecycle, partnering with Accounting, Purchasing, and Plant teams. You will lead root‑cause analyses, author SOPs, and drive cross‑functional improvements across ERP settings including SAP.

You’ll analyze exceptions, implement corrective actions, and help standardize processes with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. This role emphasizes hands‑on problem solving and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, supply chain, business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in accounts payable, procure-to-pay or bill-to-pay operations.
• Portfolio of published root-cause analyses showing steps, data, method, and results.
• Understand mechanics of PO, receiving, invoicing, and exceptions.
• ERP experience in a PO-driven environment; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct root‑cause analyses on recurring billing, invoicing, receiving, and payment failures using structured methods.
• Publish corrective actions with owners and due dates; verify fixes by recurrence checks.
• Mine exception data to identify patterns and prioritize problems to solve.
• Co‑own and maintain SOP library for full bill‑to‑pay lifecycle and train stakeholders.
