Job summary

The Fedcap Group seeks an AP Senior Manager to lead the end-to-end Accounts Payable function, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled disbursements. You will standardize processes, set service levels, and partner with vendors and stakeholders to drive efficiency and audit readiness.

You will oversee AP process improvements, KPI creation, and SLA management while collaborating with Treasury and the Director of Accounting to close monthly and yearly books.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• MBA or MS preferred.
• 6-8 years of Accounts Payable or Procure-to-Pay experience.
• 4-5 years in a leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP required.
• Demonstrated experience owning and improving AP process.
• Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, education or government organizations.
• Internal controls and compliance framework.
• Multi-entity and intercompany accounting concepts.
• Payment methods and treasury integration.
• Vendor management practices.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide End to End AP Operations leadership and structure.
• Design, implement, and improve standardized Accounts Payable and Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Own AP platform improvements and coordinate with IT on enhancements.
• Coordinate with Treasury on cash forecasting and month-end close with Accounting Director.
• Develop the AP team and establish KPIs and SLA measures.
• Maintain segregations of duties and monitor duplicate payments and payment exceptions.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance with procurement and payment policies.
