Job summary

Corient is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to lead high-volume AP operations across multiple entities within our Finance team. You will own end-to-end processing, manage complex invoices, drive month-end close, and ensure control compliance while supporting audit readiness.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AP, strong Excel skills, and experience with multi-entity environment and ERP systems (Workday preferred). This onsite role in Miami offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounts payable, month-end close, accruals, and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end processing of high-volume supplier invoices across multiple entities, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and timely payment.
• Review complex invoices and resolve exceptions, duplicates, pricing discrepancies, and escalations.
• Maintain supplier records and support onboarding with tax documentation and banking requirements.
• Lead month-end close activities including AP accruals, aging reviews, GL reconciliations.
• Analyze AP activity to identify risks and opportunities for working capital improvements.
• Serve as liaison across AP, Accounting, Procurement, Treasury, Tax, and business units to resolve issues.
