Corient is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team in Miami. You will prepare and post journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close for ongoing projects and multi-entity reporting.

The role requires 2–4+ years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Workday or other ERP systems. This onsite role involves four days per week in the office with confidentiality and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-4+ years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Strong grounding in GAAP and general ledger accounting.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with accounting policies.
• Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Assist with month-end close and internal project accounting.
• Reconcile payroll-related accounts and investigate variances.
• Support audit requests with organized documentation.
• Monitor and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.
