Job summary

GLIDE in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to manage day-to-day AP operations, ensuring invoices, expenses, and payments are processed accurately and in compliance. The role collaborates across departments and leverages Concur and Sage Intacct, with a transition to NetSuite.

The ideal candidate brings strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to internal controls, GAAP, and grant-related compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field with 3+ years in AP or related finance roles.
• Understanding of GL and financial statements, GAAP knowledge.
• Experience with Concur and Sage Intacct (NetSuite a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements accurately and timely.
• Review invoices for proper documentation, coding, approvals, and policy compliance.
• Handle weekly ACH, check, and wire payments.
• Reconcile AP and related accounts; monitor aging and resolve discrepancies.
• Support audits, government monitoring, and internal controls.
