Job summary

Leoforce seeks an experienced AOI Programmer to develop and maintain Automated Optical Inspection programs for PCB assemblies using Pemtron equipment. You will optimize defect detection, collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing, and support NPI activities to ensure product quality and efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years in AOI programming in electronics manufacturing, knowledge of IPC standards, and hands-on SMT experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience programming or operating AOI equipment in an electronics manufacturing environment.
• MRP experience and knowledge required.
• Strong understanding of SMT assembly processes and PCB inspection methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and maintain AOI inspection programs for PCB assemblies.
• Fine-tune inspection parameters to improve defect detection while minimizing false calls.
• Troubleshoot AOI issues and implement corrective actions to improve inspection performance.
• Review inspection results, identify trends, and work with Quality and Manufacturing to resolve defects.
• Evaluate PCB assemblies for solder quality, placement, polarity, and orientation.
