Job summary

Bowhead is seeking an Anti-Tamper Systems Engineer for an upcoming DoD program based in Patuxent River, MD. You will provide technical leadership in designing, evaluating, and applying anti-tamper solutions to protect military systems from unauthorized access.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Engineering/Math/Physics (or a BS with extensive DoD experience), 10+ years in anti-tamper methods, and a Top Secret/SCI eligibility clearance. Salary targets range from $125,000 to $180,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required; DoD anti-tamper experience highly desired.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in anti-tamper methods/systems (14 years with degree substitution).
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required or achievable within timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze complex engineering problems.
• Apply advanced systems engineering methods to support development.
• Research, design, evaluate anti-tamper methods and systems.
• Support protection of military systems and technologies.
• Lead engineering activities and guide team members.
• Coordinate project planning, progress tracking, and resource allocation.
