Job summary

RTX’s Systems Security Engineering team in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Systems Security Engineer – Anti-Tamper/Program Protection to safeguard DoD programs through Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, and secure software assurance. This onsite role emphasizes system-level protections and CPI assessments for DoD systems.

The position requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, active DoD clearance eligibility, and expertise in SSE, Anti-Tamper, cyber security, and embedded security across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required, plus 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Experience in System Security Engineering, Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity or Embedded System Security.
• Experience designing, implementing, testing and fielding real-time embedded security solutions for DoD programs.
• Experience generating systems requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans and/or policies.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of SSE solutions in Raytheon products.
• Interact with customers to define SSE requirements, solutions, costs, and implementation strategies.
• Develop plans, estimates, task execution schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Guide SSE implementations and architectures for customer systems.
• Conduct attack threat modeling and CPI assessments.
• Develop top-level system requirements and flow those into subsystem implementation concepts.
• Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
• Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues.
