Job summary

Serco Inc. in the United States invites a Senior SME Anti-Tamper Engineer to support the DoD AT program at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. You will apply security engineering processes and analyze electronics to prevent exploitation, requiring TS/SCI and SAP access.

The role emphasizes collaboration with labs and industry partners, long-term planning, and technical oversight of projects with potential CONUS travel. A Master’s in engineering and 20+ years of DoD experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with SCI and SAP access.
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline with 20+ years of DoD-related experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).
• Experience in DoD Anti-Tamper and program protection planning.

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, weapon system protection planning, and anti-tamper methods.
• Assess integrated circuitry and memory chips; determine reverse engineering methodologies.
• Provide engineering support for acquisitions, including long-term planning and RFP oversight.
• Review proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Assess capabilities against design requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with labs and industry partners on susceptibilities and vulnerabilities.
• Identify CPI protection technologies and design improvements.
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper evaluation teams to understand current designs and vulnerabilities.
• Improve anti-tamper/exploitation design, development, manufacturing, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing of subsystems and components.
• Conduct performance, supportability, schedule, and risk assessments.
• Create, staff, publish, and maintain security classification guides.
