Job summary

Truist seeks an Ansible Automation Platform Engineer to design, operate, and continuously enhance automation platforms powering software delivery across the enterprise. You will work with GitLab SaaS, AAP, Artifactory, SonarQube, and other DevSecOps tools to improve reliability, security, and developer experience.

You will build reusable automation, golden-path templates, and AI-enabled workflows, partnering with teams to raise platform maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement enterprise infrastructure platforms across cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, or middleware domains.
• Apply automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure.
• Manage infrastructure engineering projects and processes aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate new technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Support compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Reviews and guides infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to support operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to lower-level technical professionals.
• Develops technical solutions with deep analysis of infrastructure systems and leads infrastructure processes.
