Job summary

Neogen Corporation in Kentucky seeks a senior technical project leader to support maintenance, improvement, and lifecycle management of Animal Health products.

You will apply chemistry, formulation science, and veterinary product knowledge to solve complex challenges and collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, Supply Chain, Technical Services, and Commercial teams to deliver scientifically sound, commercially viable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant industry experience; or Master’s degree with 6+ years; or PhD with 3+ years.
• Experience in chemistry, formulation science, analytical science, and biochemistry applied to animal health products.
• Ability to design experiments, analyze results, and make data-driven technical recommendations.
• Experience authoring and maintaining technical reports, protocols, validation documents, risk assessments, and SOPs.
• Knowledge of cGMP, FDA CVM regulations, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experimental testing to evaluate product performance, stability, quality, and manufacturability across the lifecycle.
• Lead technical investigations and troubleshooting for Animal Health products in commercial and ongoing operations.
• Develop and implement product and process improvements to enhance quality, reliability, and cost performance.
• Lead projects involving formulation changes, raw material changes, manufacturing transfers, supplier qualifications, and continuous improvement.
• Support development, scale-up, validation, and commercialization activities for new products and line extensions.
• Evaluate product performance using lab studies, stability programs, analytical data, and customer feedback.
