Job summary

PTR Global is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer in Phoenix to design and deliver scalable web applications using Angular 17+ and modern front-end tech. Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer with deep expertise in Angular 17+ and modern front-end technologies. This role will design and develop scalable, responsive, and high-performing web applications while integrating with GraphQL APIs and Java/Spring Boot services deployed in Microsoft Azure.

The ideal candidate has strong experience building reusable Angular components, implementing lazy loading, optimizing application performance, and delivering intuitive user experiences within an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Angular 17+.
• Build modular, reusable, and responsive UI components that follow established design-system standards.
• Implement lazy loading, routing, state management, and code-splitting strategies to improve application performance.
• Integrate front-end applications with GraphQL APIs and Java/Spring Boot microservices.
• Partner with Java developers to define API contracts, troubleshoot integration issues, and deliver end-to-end functionality.
• Apply accessibility, usability, security, and responsive-design standards throughout development.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, maintainability, and efficient data rendering.
• Write unit and integration tests using tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish front-end development standards and best practices.
• Support application deployments and CI/CD processes within Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, architects, back-end developers, and QA teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Advanced hands-on experience with Angular, including recent experience with Angular 17 or newer.
• Experience developing reusable Angular components, modules, directives, pipes, services, and reactive forms.
• Strong understanding of Angular routing, lazy loading, dependency injection, RxJS, observables, and component lifecycle management.
• Experience integrating applications with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot applications, microservices, and API integrations.
• Experience deploying or supporting web applications in Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Angular Signals, standalone components, NgRx, or other state-management solutions.
• Experience working with enterprise design systems or component libraries such as Angular Material.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application environments.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• Experience developing applications within large-scale enterprise or highly regulated environments.
