Job summary

Rivet Industries is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Device Management to build foundational components of their device platform. This role involves designing and maintaining low-level Android/Linux code and ensuring compliance and reliability in the deployment of secure systems.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience with Android systems, strong skills in Linux programming, and a proven track record with secure enrollment and MDM systems. This position is based in Bellevue, WA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building Android system-level code (AOSP, custom ROMs, etc.).
• Strong Linux systems programming experience and proficiency in Go or similar language.
• Practical experience with secure enrollment and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain low-level Android/Linux platform code.
• Build lightweight host services for device communication and telemetry.
• Ship secure device management processes end to end.

Skills

Android system-level code building

Linux systems programming

Experience with MDM/EMM systems

Secure boot and TPM familiarity

Building hardened Android images

Education

BS in CS, CE, or equivalent
