CIS Mobile, part of CIS Secure, seeks a Senior Android Platform Developer to advance the altOS platform—our security-focused Android distribution. You will collaborate with server and application teams to extend a hardened AndroidOS on mobile devices.

Ideal candidates have strong Android development background, at least five years in the field, and experience with AOSP, Linux, and modern security practices. This role is remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of Android-related product development.
• Experience compiling, modifying, and installing AOSP.
• Familiarity with Android platform architecture and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support and extend altOS, a security-focused Android distribution.
• Design and build advanced Android applications that extend the OS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features.
• Perform product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta projects on a custom ROM.
