United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a seasoned Android Developer to join the Mobile Core team. You will own the Native Systems Layer, ensuring a fast, secure mobile foundation and deep integration with Android OS across multiple product teams.

Lead platform improvements, drive scalable UI components with Jetpack Compose, and collaborate with hardware/firmware teams onsite in California. 6+ years of Android experience required; familiarity with BLE/NFC and secure data transport a must.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and Android SDK mastery.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and shared UI libraries.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.
• Knowledge of networking stacks and mobile protocols.
• Hands-on with hardware integration (BLE/NFC) and secure data transit.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve Native UI Platform with Jetpack Compose.
• Improve Platform Infrastructure and Developer Experience (CI/CD, tests, releases).
• Maintain high-performance networking stack and offline-first synchronization.
• Own low-level protocols (BLE, NFC, Wi‑Fi handshakes) for hardware communication.
• Develop the Native-Web bridge for secure interaction between web components and native sensors.
• Advise teams on architecture evolution and Server-Driven UI patterns.
