United States Digital Space LLC in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a senior Android engineer to own and elevate mobile experiences in our trading product ecosystem. You will work with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver fast, scalable, and inclusive Android apps using Kotlin and modern Android APIs.

The role emphasizes leadership, architecture, and mentoring while delivering high-quality, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Android development experience.
• Experience leading large-scale mobile initiatives.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical direction for Android experiences across high-impact product areas using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
• Lead complex, ambiguous initiatives end to end—from early product and technical strategy through architecture, implementation, experimentation, launch, and long-term evolution.
• Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Data Scientists to shape roadmaps, influence product decisions, and deliver solutions with meaningful impact.
• Establish and uphold engineering standards, architecture patterns, and development practices to improve quality, scalability, maintainability, and velocity.
• Mentor engineers, drive design reviews, unblock critical decisions, and raise the bar for execution and collaboration.
