Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Android engineer to join our Platform and Product teams. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to advance mobile technology and user experiences at scale.

You’ll lead prototyping, architecture, and feature releases while employing Kotlin/Java, Gradle, CI/CD, and AI-enabled tooling to boost velocity and quality across millions of users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Android experience delivering consumer or platform products at scale.
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Android best practices and modern development using Kotlin and/or Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to every stage of the engineering process—from rapid prototyping and A/B testing to architecting, building, and releasing features and frameworks that scale to millions of users.
• Drive technical initiatives that benefit both users and engineers, e.g., modularization, scalable architecture, advanced media handling, dependency injection, and reusable UI components.
• Uphold and advance code and system quality, ensuring excellence in foundational and shared components.
• Work with industry-leading tools and practices: AI-driven development, build and test automation, comprehensive CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and mentor peers, grow your expertise, and tackle high-impact projects across both the mobile product and platform landscape.
• Use AI thoughtfully to accelerate execution, from drafting and prototyping to outlining and validating designs, always applying sound judgment and verification.
• Ensure protection of sensitive data, uphold high integrity, and remain accountable for your decisions and deliverables.
