Job summary

Pinterest is seeking an experienced iOS Tech Lead to set and execute the long‑term strategy for the iOS platform and align with product goals. You’ll work with product teams and other leads to deliver a world‑class iOS experience across the organization.

You’ll mentor engineers, champion best practices, and scale initiatives across teams while leveraging AI to improve delivery speed and quality. In‑office collaboration 1–2 times every 6 months is supported, with flexibility for nationwide work

Qualifications

• Deep expertise building iOS systems at scale with modern frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proven track record delivering large, cross‑functional projects.
• Experience using AI to improve speed and quality in workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical point of contact for decisions that impact the whole iOS platform and for cross‑functional partners like recruiting, business development and legal
• Develop strong partnerships with product teams to understand and proactively address future technology needs and current developer pain points
• Champion and drive large‑scale, cross‑functional initiatives that improve the iOS platform
• Leverage AI to accelerate delivery and increase overall efficiency of large scale migrations and refactoring initiatives while remaining accountable for final decisions and deliverables.
• Act as the ultimate “customer representative” for engineers on iOS including representing needs to leadership and prioritizing projects on the platform teams that ensure high quality features and a world‑class developer experience
• Scale your leadership through both direct mentorship and via best practices, processes, training and tools.
• Ensure solid technical plans are in place for projects within iOS via direct review or delegation
