Job summary

TSR Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Digital Android Engineer to lead the end-to-end delivery of a flagship global mobile banking app. You will shape the Android tech stack, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and design to translate complex requirements into scalable mobile experiences.

The role focuses on Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern architectures, with emphasis on performance, security, and release quality across large-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building native Android apps end-to-end.
• Expertise in Kotlin and MVVM/Clean Architecture.
• Proficient with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Production experience with Jetpack Compose for declarative UI.
• Proven ability to diagnose memory, rendering, and battery issues.
• Experience shipping apps on Google Play with release accountability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead end-to-end design of major features for the flagship Android app with a focus on scalability.
• Set direction for the Android tech stack including Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Define and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, security, and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers to elevate skills across the team.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and backend teams to translate requirements into robust mobile experiences.
• Optimize memory usage, battery efficiency, and runtime performance for a smooth user experience.
• Improve development processes, CI/CD workflows, and delivery velocity.
• Assess technical and operational risk to ensure security and platform reliability.
