TSR Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Digital Android Engineer to lead the end-to-end delivery of a flagship global mobile banking app. You will shape the Android tech stack, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and design to translate complex requirements into scalable mobile experiences.

The role focuses on Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern architectures, with emphasis on performance, security, and release quality across large-scale deployments.

Formación

• 5+ years building native Android apps end-to-end.
• Expertise in Kotlin and MVVM/Clean Architecture.
• Proficient with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Production experience with Jetpack Compose for declarative UI.
• Proven ability to diagnose memory, rendering, and battery issues.
• Experience shipping apps on Google Play with release accountability.

We are seeking a Digital Android Engineer (Senior) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, modern Android architectures, performance optimization, and large-scale app delivery and a proven ability to lead architecture and end-to-end delivery of complex features for a flagship, global mobile banking application.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead end-to-end design and development of major features for client's flagship Android application with a focus on scalability and resilience.
• Set direction for the Android tech stack, including Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and modern architecture patterns.
• Define and enforce engineering standards for code quality, automated testing, security, and performance.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers to elevate skills and practices across the team.
• Partner with Product, Design, and backend teams to translate requirements into robust mobile experiences.
• Optimize memory usage, battery efficiency, and runtime performance for a smooth user experience.
• Continuously improve development processes, testing strategies, and CI/CD workflows to increase delivery velocity.
• Assess technical and operational risk to ensure compliance, security, and platform reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience building native Android applications end to end.
• Expertise in Kotlin and modern Android architecture patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Deep knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle, including multi-module build optimization.
• Production experience with Jetpack, including Jetpack Compose for declarative UI at scale.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve memory, rendering, and battery performance issues.
• History of shipping or maintaining at least one application on Google Play with accountability for release quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience leading technical decisions and influencing cross-functional engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Agile and waterfall delivery models in large-scale environments.
• Background in regulated industries, preferably financial services, with focus on security and compliance.
