Job summary

InterSources Inc. seeks a seasoned Android consultant with 6+ years of experience in Kotlin to join a contract role of 12 months.

The candidate will work CST/PST shifts and use their own laptop, delivering high‑quality Android apps with Kotlin, coroutines, and modern architecture patterns. Responsibilities include implementing Jetpack Compose UIs, managing state with ViewModel and Flow, and maintaining multi‑module projects with clean architecture.

Qualifications

• High proficiency in Kotlin with deep understanding of coroutines, dispatchers, scopes, suspend functions, parallel execution and structured concurrency with robust error handling.
• Hands-on experience with Android architecture components, especially ViewModel and lifecycle awareness.
• Proficient in Jetpack Compose, UI composition, modifiers, state management and declarative UI patterns.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous data handling using LiveData and Kotlin Flow, with best practices.
• Experience designing and maintaining multi-module Android apps and clean architecture principles.
• Strong understanding of advanced Kotlin concepts and their practical use in scalable codebases.
• Familiarity with Server-Driven UI concepts and how backend configurations can alter UI behavior.
• Exposure to Android NDK and native integrations is a plus for performance‑critical components.
