Kforce is seeking an Android Developer in Plano, TX to join a team rebuilding a consumer banking app with a modern, modular architecture. You will own design decisions, implement Kotlin-based UI with Jetpack Compose, and help push features from design mock to production on a one-year engagement.

You will collaborate with product owners and mobile architects to ship reliable, high-performance code that handles real customer volume.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile app production engineering experience.
• Deep Kotlin and Android SDK expertise.
• Production experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong grasp of Coroutines/Flow and modern Android architecture.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD for Android.
• Apps shipped to Google Play at meaningful scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the vertical from design to shipped artifact in a modular Android app.
• Write code, design systems, and debug production issues.
• Collaborate with product owners and mobile architects to production on day one.
