You will write clean Kotlin code, contribute to system design, ensure test coverage, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while safely integrating AI/ML-enabled features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Professional experience developing Android applications using Kotlin.
• Experience owning well-defined mobile components with API consumption and backend integration.
• Solid understanding of Android fundamentals and engineering practices, incl. AI/ML readiness.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain Android features across Expedia Group brands.
• Design and implement clean, testable Kotlin code with well-structured APIs and data models.
• Contribute to system and low-level design for mobile components including navigation, error handling, and data sources.
• Diagnose and resolve issues to improve performance, stability, and usability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features with tests and CI practices.
• Safely integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions in mobile features.
