Expedia Group is seeking an Android Engineer III to build, enhance, and maintain high‑quality Android experiences across multiple brands. You will design clean Kotlin APIs, contribute to mobile system designs, and collaborate with product and backend teams to deliver features end‑to‑end.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Android development with Kotlin, knowledge of Jetpack Compose and MVVM/MVI patterns, and comfort with AI-driven tools in mobile product features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant Android/Kotlin development experience.
• Experience owning components or services within a mobile app, API consumption, and backend integration.

Responsibilities

• Build, enhance, and maintain Android features across Expedia Group brands.
• Design and implement clean, testable Kotlin code and data models.
• Contribute to system and low-level design of mobile components and backend integration.
• Diagnose, debug, and optimize Android apps for performance and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and apply CI practices; safely integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions.
