Themesoft Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to design, build, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin. You will work in a hybrid role based in Portland, ME, collaborating with product, design, backend, and QA teams to deliver scalable mobile solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM, REST API integration, offline caching, and a strong emphasis on testing and performance.

Qualifications

• Proven Kotlin Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling offline data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin.
• Build scalable apps with Android SDK and modern architecture.
• Implement UI with Jetpack Compose and Material Design.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, authentication, and push notifications.
• Apply MVVM/Clean Architecture and contribute to code quality.
• Write unit/UI tests and collaborate with QA to fix defects.
• Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
• Ensure security, performance, and release readiness via CI/CD.
